Event Details:

 

• Date: February 6, 2025

• Time: Meet at 7:45 AM at VCU Larrick Center for breakfast, a legislative update, and lobbying training, with visits to the General Assembly from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM.

• Location:

  • Morning Meeting: VCU Larrick Center, 900 Turpin St.

  • Visits: General Assembly Building (a short, 9-minute walk from the Larrick Center).

Agenda:

​

• 7:45 AM: Meet at the VCU Larrick Center (continental breakfast served).

• 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Meetings with legislators at the General Assembly Building.

• 12:00 PM: Return to the Larrick Center for lunch.

How to Get Involved:

 

1. Register Now: Click here to register for Advocacy Day.

    

2. Identify Your Legislators: Use Who’s My Legislator to find your state senator and delegate, and note their office’s contact information.

    

3. Schedule Meetings: Contact your legislators’ offices to set up a meeting for February 6th between 9:00 AM and noon. Once you’ve scheduled, email the details to Sue Nussbaum at suew1116@gmail.com to coordinate visits and avoid duplication. Medical students will also be assigned to accompany attendees.
